The Grondines windmill

Built in 1674, the Grondines windmill is the oldest windmill in Quebec. A permanent exhibition tells of the windmill’s dual role, first as a flourmill for 200 years, then as a St. Lawrence Seaway lighthouse from 1812 to 1967.
