Through the Jacques-Cartier Canyon: A spectacular guided tour
With Rivière Concept, discover the Jacques-Cartier River as it winds through the heart of an impressive canyon, carved by shale cliffs reaching 75 metres in height. Spanning 9.5 km, this guided rafting or inflatable kayaking trip offers an accessible micro-adventure that’s perfect for both families and whitewater enthusiasts. Class R1 to R3 rapids offer a great balance of fun, safety, and thrills.

Under the supervision of certified guides, this activity combines thrills with breathtaking scenery. Depending on the water level, you can even try your hand at cliff jumping or swimming in the rapids. The tour lasts 3 to 6 hours and starts in Donnacona, right next to Parc familial des Berges, a welcoming base camp with picnic areas, playgrounds, and trails.

The Jacques-Cartier is also the westernmost Atlantic salmon river in North America, an ecological treasure currently undergoing restoration. Each participant receives a ticket to visit Passe migratoire à saumon de la Jacques-Cartier, located just two minutes from base camp. Through underwater windows, visitors can watch the salmon swimming upstream. Rivière Concept also donates the value of each coupon to the organization, thereby directly contributing to salmon conservation and the protection of their habitat.

On the Sainte-Anne River: A gentle trip through the heart of Parc naturel régional de Portneuf.
Parc naturel régional de Portneuf offers an accessible and relaxing trip down the Sainte-Anne River aboard inflatable rafts that can carry two to five people. The 6.6-kilometre route between Saint-Alban and Saint-Casimir takes from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 3 hours to complete on your own, depending on your pace and any stops. The route passes through a rugged landscape characterized by limestone cliffs carved by water, a typical feature of the gorge area.

This activity is suitable for everyone, thanks to its easy difficulty level and a few gentle rapids, which vary depending on the water flow. The trip starts in Saint-Casimir, where a shuttle bus takes participants to the departure point. All necessary equipment is provided: a life jacket, paddle, waterproof bag, and safety kit.

The route is also a gateway to this exceptional area, spanning over 70 km² and featuring numerous lakes, trails, overlooks, campgrounds, and outdoor activities.

Iconic trip through Vallée Bras-du-Nord
The highlight of Vallée Bras-du-Nord is the rafting trip down the river, as it offers 17 km of calm waters set against a wild, mountainous backdrop. The trip lasts an average of 4 to 6 hours and alternates between calm stretches and a few easy rapids. During periods with lower water levels, sandbars emerge in the middle of the river, making them the perfect spot for a swim. Perhaps the most impressive feature is Chute Delaney, a spectacular waterfall that plunges into the river from the steep cliffs.

The process is simple: the shuttle departs from Accueil Cantin and the starting point is at Accueil Shannahan. Visitors can choose one of three available rentals: canoes, single kayaks, and double kayaks. Inflatable boats are prohibited, except for high-pressure models designed for river use.

To extend the duration of your trip, there is a canoe-camping site halfway along the route, between kilometres 7 and 8. Campsites cannot be reserved and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There are tables, fire pits, and a shared shelter for cooking—perfect for a complete escape into the great outdoors.
